Join us for our annual signature event of the season, the Taste of Illinois. Held annually at rotating venues throughout DC with historic Illinois-ties, Taste of Illinois celebrates Illinois' culinary sights and sounds. With a menu starting in our culinary capital, Chicago, and traversing down South to our Southern Illinois vineyards and restaurants, you're sure to find a new favorite dish. With the exciting sounds of the Radio King Orchestra - no evening is complete without a quick photo with your favorite Illinois President - we have 4! - or iconic landmark. The evening also includes the fantastic Illinois Beer and Wine Garden, sponsored by the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild & Illinois Grape Growers & Vintners Alliance. All proceeds and sponsorships from Taste of Illinois directly fund the ILSS Scholarship Program. Since 2002 the ILSS scholarship program has provided over 500 scholarships to students interning with Illinois Congressional Offices in Washington, DC. |
