Nancy Krakover

Nancy Krakover serves as the Secretary of the ILSS Board. She previously served as the President of the ISS from 1982-1983 and took a few years off from participation in the ISS while she and her husband raised their family. Nancy returned to ILSS several years ago at the request of several current members who felt that her abilities would be welcomed by the Board. Nancy also serves as the Chair of the Capitol Hill Intern Scholarship Committee after serving on the committee as a member for 3 years. She also served on the 2017 Illinois State Society Heartland Inaugural Ball Committee and was Chair of the Décor Committee. Nancy has been Chair of the Fairfax County Electoral Board and was appointed to the Fairfax County Commission for Women for 2 terms, serving the needs of the residents of the Braddock District.

In her professional life, she assisted corporate CEOs and CFOs of several high profile public companies for many years and is now retired and continuing to contribute to the success of the Illinois State Society. ​
