2019 ILLINOIS CHERRY BLOSSOM PRINCESS

The Illinois State Society is pleased to announce the 2019 Illinois Cherry Blossom Princess is Grace Bologna of Chicago, Illinois. Grace is a current fourth-year student at the University of Chicago where she is a double-major in Political Science and East Asian Languages and Civilizations.

A life-long resident of Chicago, she has completed an internship with the Japanese Consulate in Chicago, has traveled twice to Japan, and spent a year studying at Doshisha University in Lyoto. She has also completed research in Tokyo. Passionate about her hometown, after college Grace plans to pursue a career in the Chicago city government. We look forward to supporting her during the 2019 Cherry Blossom Festival.
